Tokinashi Turnip and Minowase Daikon …from seed to harvest 54 days.
Seed purchased from Baker Creek Rare Seed Co. The turnip seed is from 2026 and the Daikon seed was from 2024. Got a perfect germination from both the seeds.
The cool weather and nice rain in April and May was close to ideal for these root vegetables.
Both very mild and tasty. I will grow them again in the fall, if possible.
