This year is my first time growing the red noodle long beans. I got the seed from Baker Creek Seeds in Missouri I tied them up on bean poles in the old traditional style. It was a struggle to keep them alive during the first part of the season. Now they are producing like mad. I now know they could have climbed a much larger support. 
If I grow them again I will build a more substantial structure for them to twine around.
I haven’t mentioned; they are really tasty and so easy to prepare and cook. I have also pickled them following a receipt I found on the “big ole www”.
