We did a trek into the National Forest recently. The only greenlife at this time of year are the moss, fungi, lichen…and the early jonquils.

In the hardwood forest on December 24th. A sunny day after an early rain shower. Fungi abounds.
The fungi folk are making an appearance in the forest along the walking trail during these wet late August days.
