Six weeks of “long nights” (14 hrs of complete dark) and cool temperatures and the Zygo cactus is blooming like mad. The white one bloomed until February last season. I bought the small plants in December 2023. I’ve had blooms in ’23,’24,and now ’25.
My Grandmother grew these. I was fascinated by them when I was a young teenager. Now, all these years later; it’s my turn to have them blooming in Winter. Homage to my dear grandmother, Annie Ellen.
